Molipane is the ever-evolving project of Will Johnson, rooted in the hazy dissonance of distorted sounds, blending elements of shoegaze and grunge-gaze together to create something raw and emotional. While the project is a solo exploration, Molipane’s live performance has expanded into a full band joined by Kale Hamilton, Drew Van Arts, and Trent Wallace, to transform the studio recordings into something heavy and visceral. Molipane recently dropped a single, “Holes,” and has an EP on the way.
